Introduction to wine tasting
Last Updated on Thursday, 05 January 2012
Normally, I offer a one day Introduction to Wine Tasting class which is aimed at those who wish to understand wine tasting without learning about a lot of regions and varieties.
I hope to be able to run some classes in Spring 2012; as the ideal number of students is 14 this will depend on bookings. If you would like to take a class This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and let me know which month (February, March, April or May) suits you best. Once I get enough enquiries to consider running a class I will get in touch to confirm dates, locations etc.
Classes are not restricted to Dublin locations; if sufficient people from outside Dublin are interested then I will arrange a location and date to suit.
The normal cost is €125 per person and the class runs on a Saturday from 10:00 to 16:30. Students learn about how they taste, how to taste wine and have the opportunity to taste a wide range of wine styles. Students also get lunch, refreshments, a set of 6 tasting glasses and class notes all for the class fee!
It is also useful for those who are revising for WSET examinations up to Level 3 Advanced Certificate.
