The Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits is an excellent course, designed to give students a good understanding of how grapes are grown, how wine is made, how to taste wine and of the major wine regions of the world. There is no prerequisite for this course, although students who have taken either the WSET Level 1 Foundation or WSET Level 2 Intermediate Certificate will have a good basis for the Advanced Certificate.

The Advanced Certificate is a classroom-taught course with 14 lectures over 14 evenings; clases are typically two and a half hours long. The successful graduate has demonstrated a decent level of knowledge relating to wines and spirits from all over the world, is a competent taster and is eligible to undertake the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits.

Current Advanced Certificate students can log in on the AC Student Log-in page to access course downloads and examination schedules.
If you wish to know more about the WSET Diploma please read the Diploma Registration page.
